Marseille, who were subject to a £32 million takeover by Frank McCourt in October, want to convince the 29-year-old to join their squad in January and have opened formal discussions over a move. It was gathered that Fenerbahce are also monitoring Mikel’s situation but have yet to make a move. Since returning in late August from the Rio Olympic games, Mikel has fallen behind Nemanja Matic, N’Golo Kante, Nathaniel Chalobah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the pecking order and is not a part of Conte’s plans.

Clinton aides accused the FBI for loss of election

Top aides to Hillary Clinton are blaming FBI Director James Comey and the media for the Democrat’s devastating loss in the presidential election.Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, communications director Jennifer Palmieri and other Clinton aides sought to provide explanations during a private conference call Thursday with supporters of the Democratic nominee for a loss that to many came out of nowhere. They were pressed on the call for answers and insight from supporters stung by the surprise loss.At one point on the call, Podesta noted that Comey is the guy “who we think may have cost us the election,” according to one Clinton surrogate who relayed details about the call to The Hill.Another unidentified aide also seemed to blame Comey.“We saw turnout down and didn't do nearly as well as we thought. Something happened and it happened in a pretty steady way late in the race,” the aide said, according to the surrogate. The surrogate said the clear message from the call was that Comey had contributed to the declining turnout. “That last week, it was just one too many things,” Palmieri added later, referring to the post-Comey final week of the campaign.Comey on Oct. 6, Comey said the FBI had not found any information in the new emails that would change its original decision that Clinton should not be charged.Aides also blamed the media for the loss.“The media always covered her as the person who would be president and therefore tried to eviscerate her before the election, but covered Trump who was someone who was entertaining and sort of gave him a pass,” Podesta said. “We need to reflect and analyze that and put our voices forward.”Trump during the campaign frequently criticized the media for being too hard on him.Podesta, whose hacked emails were released by WikiLeaks over the campaign’s final stretch, said top Clinton aides will argue that the press created a “false moral equivalency” in its coverage of Clinton and Trump. The campaign chairman blamed the press for “the dominance of the way they covered the email” controversy, saying it overlooked “the conflicts of Trump's businesses, the Russian contacts we are now learning to be true, the failure of the press following the 3-page leak to the New York Times to really dig into the income tax question.”The Times in October published an explosive story that suggested Trump may not have paid income taxes for more than a decade. Trump had also been criticized for possible business dealings in Russia.“We need to be mindful of the fact that they're going to continue, they won't quit, they're going to continue to throw mud,” he said of the press, adding that Clinton supporters need to “defend her and her legacy and the kind of person she is.”Surrogates on the call who asked questions included donor J.B. Pritzker, Ready for Hillary co-founder Allida Black and strategist Maria Cardona. Black cried at one point during the call.Palmieri also acknowledged the campaign is still looking for answers.“Thirty-six hours after the most devastating loss in the history of American politics, we're looking at a white board right now with lots of ideas,” Palmieri said. “We're sort of figuring out what we need to do this week, and what we need Democrats to do in the next two months ahead of the inaugural.“I don't have a real answer except to say we have ideas about what works needs to be done and hope there are people in a position to do that. We're trying to figure it out.”
28 shocked Washington and Democrats by telling Congress that the FBI had discovered new emails related to its investigation of Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of State. The FBI had decided against making criminal charges against Clinton over the summer for her handling of classified information on that server.Polls between Clinton and Republican Donald Trump had already tightened with the Comey news broke, and the race appeared to get closer over the next week.On Nov.

Breaking News : Vincent kompanyand and Moussaka Dembele are doubt for the match against Estonia

Vincent Kompany and Mousa Dembele have been ruled out of Belgium's World Cup Qualifier against Estonia.Roberto Martinez had insisted there was no injury to Manchester City captain Kompany, despite the defender missing Belgium's 1-1 draw with the Netherlands on Wednesday. However, the Belgium head coach has confirmed the defender, along with Tottenham's Dembele, will not be available for Sunday's visit of Estonia. Kompany was named in Belgium's starting XI for the first time in a year against the Netherlands but, after warming up with the rest of the squad, was replaced by Watford's Christian Kabasele moments before the game.Martinez said he "did not want to take any risks" when explaining his decision to leave Kompany out of the friendly, but was confident he would be fit for the Group H clash this weekend. The 30-year-old has made just two Premier League appearances for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City this season due to injuries and last played in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in the EFL Cup in October.  City have an away trip to Crystal Palace on November 19 following the international break, before a Champions League tie against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League three days later, and goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has already provided injury concern after limping out of Chile's draw with Colombia.Mousa Dembele started for Tottenham in the north London derby against Arsenal last weekendTottenham's involvement in the Champions League also leaves them with a busy schedule after the international break, with Spurs set to face West Ham and Monaco within four days. Dembele has been an important part of Mauricio Pochettino's side this season and started in the north London derby draw with Arsenal.

Zlatan lbrahimovic learned from Marco van basten

Zlatan Ibrahimovic learned how to be more ruthless in front of goal by watching videos of Marco van Basten, according to his former coach Fabio Capello.Former England boss Capello coached the Manchester United striker at Juventus, where the pair won successive Serie A titles between 2004 and 2006.Capello signed Ibrahimovic from Ajax and admitted he was not initially impressed with the former Sweden international, who has gone on to score 308 league goals throughout his career.Ibrahimovic watched videos of Van Basten to help his finishing "At the beginning of his first spell at Juventus…I noticed that he was weaker than I thought when he had to kick the ball and was not very strong in the air," Capello told Premium Sports. No contract."Ibrahimovic loved making assists more than scoring goals. I wanted him to become more ruthless in front of goal and improve his finishing."He had the same technical skills as Van Basten and I made him watch the videos of him to improve his finishing. Ibra got it straight away. I think results are out there to prove it."Ibrahimovic scored twice against Swansea to end a run of six games without a goal as Manchester United moved to sixth in the Premier League table. Zlatan Ibrahimovic say's Manchester United can win the Epl Title

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is sure he will win the Premier League with Manchester United and says his performances will improve once he picks up the rhythm of the English game. The 35-year-old has scored six league goals since the start of the season, including two against Swansea City at the weekend that ended a two-month league drought.United have stuttered in the first months of Jose Mourinho's reign at Old Trafford and are sixth in the table, and while not giving up on the title, Ibrahimovic said the team need to improve to challenge the likes of early pace setters Liverpool Chelsea and Manchester City."If I could win the Premier League, the next day I would stop playing football... almost. Hopefully I can win it, and I will win it," he told the club's website. (www.manutd.com)."We have been a little bit unlucky in certain games, but we believe. When you believe it will come."Ibrahimovic said the fact that United have failed to mount a title challenge in three seasons of decline after the retirement of Alex Ferguson means they must work even harder to restore their place at the top of English football."From just below to the top, I think there is a big difference. After a couple of years if you haven't been on the top of the table you notice it, you feel it. That's what we are working for," he said."I've missed pretty good chances, which I don't (usually) see myself doing, but it's a different game here."I know I can do more, I know the team can do more. I want to do more. I will do more. We're in that first phase where you get to know each other, where you get to know the game also."Ibrahimovic has won titles in four different countries and played at Ajax Amsterdam, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan. The Swede has won a trophy in each season since 2001."I think the club is massive. I've played in other massive clubs. Every club I played (for) is massive. If it was not massive, it became massive when I came, so same thing," he added."You can see the intention of what the club is doing is not local, it's global, to reach out worldwide. And in that way, it's huge."

Suarez to sign blockbuster contract with Barcelona

European Golden Shoe winner Luis Suarez said negotiations to
extend his contract with Barcelona until 2021 were running smoothly. The 29-year-old, who claimed the award for a second time after finishing top scorer across Europe last season, originally joined Barcelona on a five-year deal from Liverpool in 2014."Negotiations are moving along nicely in the right direction," Suarez told a press conference in Uruguay, where he is preparing for a World Cup qualifier with Ecuador on Thursday."Both parties want this deal to go through," said the centre-forward, who scored 40 Liga goals in 35 games last season and 59 goals from 53 games in all competitions.Barcelona-based sports daily El Mundo Deportivo reported on Wednesday the Spanish champions had offered Suarez an improved deal until June 2021, two years beyond his current contract."Luis Suarez, ready," read its headline, while Marca also reported the imminent deal."His salary rise will be substantial," said Marca."Right now he earns €16 million a season, his new deal will push that to €25 million a season," it added.Brazilian superstar Neymar signed a new five-year contract in late October that will keep him at Barcelona until 2021.The deal, which had been agreed in June, includes a buy-out clause of up to €250 million as Barca seek to ward off interest from potential suitors.Argentina's Lionel Messi is contracted to Barcelona until 2018 and will be offered a contract extension in the coming months, the club said recently.

Arsenals striker Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of worsening his thigh injury

striker Alexis Sanchez is willing to risk the prospect of worsening his thigh injury by playing in Chile’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uruguay on Tuesday, potentially infuriating manager Arsene Wenger.Sanchez suffered “a low-grade muscle tear” in his right quadricep while training with his national team earlier this week, with a scan revealing the damage and ruling him out of Thursday’s World Cup qualifier against Colombia. But with Chile struggling in the South American World Cup qualification, Sanchez is ready to risk further injury in order to return much earlier than expected. Chile are currently in fifth place in the South American table, with only the top four guaranteed a place at the next World Cup in Russia. Finishing fifth would mean they would face a play-off against a nation from the Oceania region, with the winner qualifying for Russia 2018.    Read moreWilshere prepared to leave Arsenal permanentlyArsenal are still in contact with the Chilean Football Association over Sanchez’s condition, but they will be dismayed to read of Sanchez apparently telling friends that he will play next week despite the threat of worsening his muscle tear.According to Chilean newspaper El Mercurio, Sanchez told friends: "It is hurting a bit but I'm fine. I'll be back for Tuesday."However, there are already fears that Sanchez’s injury could be worse than originally thought, despite Chile cutting down his expected recovery time from six weeks to three. A source close to the national team claimed that a muscle tear can “evolve” in the 24 hours after it happens, and it could get worse in the time between Sanchez having his initial scan and a secondary one in the next few days."The ultrasound was performed immediately. The doctors commented that with these injuries you must wait 24 hours to determine the recovery time, because the tear evolves," the source told El Mercurio.

She congratulated us on our victory … and I congratulated her and her family on a very very hard-fought campaign."
