Ronaldo scored from a free kick that took a wicked deflection into the goal of oblak.

As was expected, Atletico made a flying start after the break, putting Real Madrid’s defence under a severe test as they tussled with them. About 20 minutes into the second half Madrid started generating some momentum, getting closer to Atletico’s goal, which culminated in a penalty by Savic on Ronaldo.

Ronaldo smashed the penalty hard into the bottom left corner past a diving Oblak, to make the equation 0-2. In the 77th minute, Ronaldo managed to complete his hat-trick smashing a goal into the back of the net courtesy of a beautiful cross by Welshman Bale.

After Cristiano’s third, the match came to a sedate end where one could tell that Atletico were desperate to get off the pitch.Atletico Madrid after loosing to Real Madrid at the championship league game 2-1 in which they fought hard to try and win. This is another wicked and painful lost for the second time in two meetings .
